AKM Fabrications Limited is a leading manufacturer of Roof Safety Products, Rubbish Chutes and a vast range of bespoke metal fabrications.
First established in 1985, it is now a successful family business. The company was originally a sheet metal work and fabrication business, but over the last 12 years it has developed a niche in the “working at height” market, these are Evo Safety Solutions.
After years of research & development and experience in manufacturing, engineering and site installations, AKM have brought to market the - Evorail and Evowalk systems to provide turnkey solutions to all your Roof Maintenance and Access issues.
All of Evo Safety Solution's products are manufactured in-house and raw materials locally sourced. We work closely with our suppliers to generate excellent products made from the best materials available.

Rubbish Chutes
Rubbish Chutes (also known as rubble chutes - rubbish disposal chutes - construction chutes & high level building waste chutes) make the ideal system for transporting debris from various levels of a structure to ground level.
The AKM range of Rubbish Chutes are blow moulded from High Density Polyethylene to give superior abrasion resistance and are fitted with steel brackets and permanently secured chains which are tested to 1000Kg.
Rubbish Chute Features
Damage Resistant - The superior grade of high-density polyethylene used in our rubbish chutes ensure maximum resistance to abrasion and will not crack even in extreme temperatures.
Lightweight - Unlike some rubbish chutes, which, being made from inferior material can weigh over 15Kg each, our sections weigh only 8Kg.
Stacks Easily - AKM Rubbish Chute sections are 1100mm high and taper from 500 to 400mm. This ensures flexibility and easy stacking - valuable space is saved.
Easily Erected - Either by hand or purpose designed winch systems our range of rubbish chutes are ready for use in minutes.

We also manufacture a full range of accessories for our rubbish chute to assist in the easy installation of the complete system. Including bespoke reinforced “Y” sections and support frames with spreader bars.
